    • Karapatang Kalusugan: People’s Right to Health, Prioritize Over Profits

For over a year we have been facing this pandemic, but we would be remiss if we don’t acknowledge, face, and collectively overcome a greater threat, and that is the epidemic of government corruption, inaction, and negligence. It is in this light that we launch this campaign, Karapatang Kalusugan at Kabuhayan (People’s Right to Health & Livelihood): Prioritize Health Over Profits, with the following objectives in order to continue uniting and taking actions while demanding accountability.

    • Bayanihan Community Response to Covid-19

We remain proud of the breadth of experience in our Bayanihan Relief and Rehabilitation Program. For over a decade, we have learned many lessons to deliver aid in an efficient and timely way to those most in need. We have also built strong relationships with trusted partner organizations in the Philippines and in the US who diligently keep us posted on the latest developments on the ground. All of these would not be possible of course without the many organizations and individuals involved and the countless volunteer hours people give! On March 2020, NAFCON launched our national campaign: Bayanihan Community Response to COVID 19.

Taal Volcano Eruption Relief and Rehabilitation

Thousands of victims needs our help

While our motherland is still  reeling with the aftermath of typhoon Ursula, another tragic natural disaster befell our fellow Filipinos in the Southern Tagalog Region — the eruption of Taal volcano.

This event displaced thousands of our fellow countrymen, disrupting their economic livelihood and will continue to affect them emotionally and economically in the foreseeable future. This disaster will greatly affect the small farmers and fishermen — the most vulnerable sector of our society.

In light of this situation, NAFCON will spearhead a relief and rehabilitation effort to address  the pressing needs of our people, particularly in Southern Tagalog Region.

NAFCON once seek the  help of our fellow Filipinos, as well as organizations and individuals to open their hearts and lend a helping hand for the national effort to help and rehabilitate the victims and survivors of this disaster.

Maraming salamat. (Thank you very much.)
